11. SPORTSBOOK SERVICES

  1. A bet is placed when a Player places a wager based on their prediction of the outcome of the event. Their possible gain depends on the odds issued by STS. We reserve the right to set a minimum stake for each bet.
  2. The Player declares upon the placement of a bet:
    1. That they have been sufficiently informed regarding the betting rules for all types of sports and are aware of betting and payout limits and accept them.
    2. That they are not aware or do not have knowledge of the outcome of the event upon which the respective bet is placed prior to the conclusion.
    3. That they will not take part in any manipulations which may influence or alter the outcome of an event or several events on which they placed a bet on, and they are not aware of any manipulations of these events.
    4. That they do not place bets upon the instructions (of) or in association with other parties and it is their sole decision.
    5. That they are not a member of a group that is barred from betting on the Website. These are in particular: participants in the betting events on offer, functionaries, coaches, active athletes or contestants, staff members of bookies or bet-placement companies.
  3. STS reserves the right to remove selected bets from the offer available on the Website at any time and at its sole discretion. However, any bets previously accepted will be honoured unless a serious error on odds or software was identified.

In such a situation the stake monies in the bets in question shall be credited to the Account, and the Player shall be barred from future betting on the Website, the Account shall be closed and the remaining funds paid out. Suspicion of manipulation or betting fraud is deemed to be present if, for example, one or more of the following criteria have been met:

    2. Staked funds with unusually high payout results.
    3. Multiple betting with unusual matches and/or leagues.
    4. Staged bets with the same or pronounced changes in combinations.
    5. Betting which suggests a group of betters is connected in terms of time and content.
  5. Bets will be settled after the result is announced. STS reserves the right to settle the funds after any investigations are completed if there is a suspicion of fraud in relation to the match-fixing of a particular event.
  6. STS has the right to correct any obvious errors or mistakes. In case of obvious errors, STS reserves the right to deem all affected bets invalid and refund all stakes. Moreover, if the bet is accepted at a price that is significantly different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made or clearly incorrect considering the chance of the outcome occurring, then STS has the right to void such bets. An obvious error could be made as a result of human error or system-related technical problems which might lead to incorrect information being published on the Website. For example, wrong over/under line, incorrectly displayed (reversed) handicap line, wrong name of the team or participant, clearly wrong odds or incorrect decimal place (25 instead of 2.5), incorrect deadlines or any technical errors etc.
  7. It is not allowed to place bets within the same bet slip that stands in direct correlation. These kinds of bets might be deemed void even after the result of the event is determined.
  8. The maximum stake of the bet is dependent on the amount STS accepts at the time the bet is placed and may vary for each sport and individual player. If the bet is higher than the automatic acceptance level set out by STS (such amount might be changed without prior notice), then the stake will be examined manually (Super Bet function). All bets sent for manual acceptance may be rejected, partially accepted or fully accepted regardless of how the request is made by the Player. STS reserves the right to decline any bet that is up for manual approval. Any bet that, for whatever reason, has not been manually reviewed before the game starting time - will get automatically voided. STS reserves the right to separately establish all betting limits for each individual player and bet.
  9. If for some reason, a betting market or event is not covered by the rules and regulations - including special rules placed on the betting market on the website, STS reserves the right to determine the outcome of each event on a case-by-case basis.
  10. We will declare void any bets placed after the effective commencement of the event to which a bet refers, except for Live Betting.
  11. STS reserves the right to suspend a market and/or cancel any bet/wager at any time. When a market is suspended, any bets entered will be rejected. STS also reserves the right to cease betting on any markets at any time without notice.
  12. As a general rule, whenever a bet is voided or cancelled, regardless of the reason, the winnings shall be forfeited, but the original deposit will be returned to the same account from where the funds originated.
  13. Professional sportsmen, who may be taking part in the event upon which betting is taking place, shall be prohibited from placing bets.
  14. Situations may arise wherein STS either suspects or has proof of:
    1. Use of the Account by an unauthorised person, or
    2. Commission of a crime under the applicable criminal law, in particular a crime against the credibility of documents or against property, or
    3. The Player failed to comply with the Terms and Conditions.

In such cases, STS will void all winnings occurring after such fraudulent activity and refund the deposit to the same account from where the funds originated.

  1. STS reserves the right to block the Account should We conclude that a Player is betting under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  2. If STS has reasonable belief that the Player committed or in any way was involved in fraudulent proceedings or activities of any kind, STS reserves the right to terminate the Agreement, close the Account and withhold all remaining funds in the Account. Fraudulent activity may be considered as, amongst others: forgery, use of stolen or falsified debit cards or account numbers, organised betting, collusion and submission of data or documents which are forged, stolen or otherwise misappropriated.
  3. Errors
    1. STS cannot be held responsible for any typing, human or palpable error which leads to any errors or omission, including the announcement, publication or prices marking, paytables or results other than those intended; or bets being accepted that contravene these T&C. STS will make every reasonable effort to investigate and take action to rectify them promptly and daily. In cases where a bet was accepted at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to void it.
    2. STS is not responsible for the accuracy of odds, prices or other information displayed on third-party or affiliate websites and we accept no liability in the event of odds or other materials being displayed incorrectly or otherwise in error on such third party websites.
    3. Whilst we make every attempt to ensure that any content used on the Website is accurate, such content is subject to error and may not always be 100% accurate. Content on the Website may therefore vary significantly from content in relation to the same event on other media sources. In agreeing to these T&C, you expressly acknowledge and agree that content may be inaccurate and subject to error, the content is not intended to amount to advice or recommendations and is provided for information purposes only. Content should not be relied upon when placing bets, which are made at your own risk and discretion. You further agree that under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any losses or harm of any kind resulting from the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available on the Website.
    4. We shall not be held responsible for losses from any technical errors where Bets were offered, placed or accepted which otherwise would not have been, including situations where Bets were placed on suspended, cancelled or closed markets. We will refund your Bet amount to restore your Account balance to the same state prior to the occurrence of the technical error.
    5. Should you become aware of an error, mistake or omission, you must notify us immediately. You are not allowed to exploit an error, bug, fault or loophole in your use of our Services either in your advantage or to our disadvantage and/or other players.
  4. Placing Bets
    1. When a bet is placed and accepted, the Account is charged the relevant amount. The Player must check whether the bet is correct before confirming it. After the bet is confirmed, it is not possible to cancel or change the bet. We reserve the right not to accept or accept only a partial stake.
    2. When several bets are placed by the Player, they will be settled in the receiving order. Several bets may be treated as one when the Player sends multiple copies of the same bet. STS reserves the right to void all bets in which there may be evidence of collusion between two or more Players or if there is a suspicion that the Account is used by different users.
    3. The acceptance and payout of bets are subject to different limits, in particular: the limit on the number of bets that can be placed, betting market limit, maximum payout limit and a personal player’s limit. The aforementioned limits are subject to change without previous notice and will be stated on the betting note or listed on the Account. STS reserves the right to limit the stakes of bets before accepting a bet and/or change the odds before a bet is placed.
    4. All odds are subject to fluctuation. Any bet that is accepted after the official start time of the event is considered void unless otherwise stated (such as in the case of live in-play bets).
    5. In-Play/Live betting - where we have good reason to suspect that a bet is placed after the outcome of an event/market is known, or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (e.g. a score, sending off etc) STS reserves the right to void (or return) the bet, win or lose.
  5. Valid Bets:
    1. A bet is only deemed to be valid once an ID has been assigned and its status is accepted. The bet can then be viewed in the “my bets” section.
    2. The Player acknowledges that it is their responsibility to make sure that they fully understand the Rules and the T&Cs.
    3. STS is not responsible for a bet not being placed for any reason, including but not limited to computer malfunctions, failure of telecommunication services or failure of Internet connections. We will not honour bets that have been submitted to us, but not confirmed as described above.
    4. The Player shall not employ or make use of any system or artificial intelligence software including but not limited to computers, machines, software or other automated systems designed specifically to defeat or manipulate our software. We will not honour any bets resultant or connected with the use of such systems or artificial intelligence software.
  6. Winnings:
    1. Winnings will be credited to the Account after the confirmation of the result by STS.
    2. Winnings from resulting bets are added to the balance of your betting account.
    3. The maximum payout for each bet to the Player is  100,000 EUR (one hundred thousand euros)  for any amount placed and for any type of bet, whether it is a single bet, a multiple bet or a system of more columns (for example, if the sum of the payout of any winning column exceeds the limit of 100,000 EUR (one hundred thousand euros), STS will pay the Player no more than 100,000 EUR (one hundred thousand euros in total).
    4. STS reserves the right to withhold payment of winnings and to declare bets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred: (1) the integrity of the event has been questioned; (2) the price(s) has been manipulated; or (3) match fixing has taken place. Evidence of the above may be based on the size, volume or pattern of bets placed with STS across any of our betting channels. A decision given by the relevant governing body of the sport in question (if any) will be conclusive. If any player owes any money to STS for any reason, STS has the right to take that into account before making any payments to that player.
  7. If a single bet is declared void, the stake amount shall be returned to the Player's Account. In case of a multiple bet, any void selection will have odds of 1.00 or 0/1 and the total odds will be adjusted accordingly (the multiple bet can still be won if all other selections are won).
  8. In the case of a series of bets being placed by individuals or a syndicate to manipulate Betting Rules, STS has the right to withhold/stop payment or winnings until such a time that STS is  satisfied no Rules have been broken.
  9. A bet that you request will only be valid once accepted by STS servers. Each valid bet will receive a unique transaction code/ID. STS shall not be liable for the settlement of any bets, which are not issued with a unique transaction code/ID. If you are unsure about the validity of a bet, please check your account history or contact us.
  10. In addition to these terms and conditions, other manually added special rules may be found under ‘Events’ or ‘Markets’ on the Website and shall be considered as a part of the T&C.

12 - DEPOSITS

  1. Deposits can be made only via the Website. The Player can use any method available on the Website. Available payment methods, associated fees and requirements may vary. Further information about the deposit methods is included in the ‘Deposit’ section of the Website.
  2. STS does not guarantee that all payment methods will be available at all times.
  3. A deposit request via debit/credit card into the Account funds the Account in real-time. Other methods might take longer to process.
  4. Funds are held on the Account solely and specifically for using them to place a bet and settle fees or charges that may incur in connection with the use of the Services. The Player shall not treat STS as a financial institution nor expect interests on their deposits.
  5. STS is entitled to suspend or close the Account if there is a reasonable belief that the Player is depositing funds without any intention to gamble. In such circumstances, STS may also be obliged to file a report to the relevant authorities.
  6. STS has the right to impose particular conditions on the use of certain payment methods if enforced by payment providers or regulatory obligations and requirements, or if it is linked to suspicious activity.
  7. STS also has the right to change the list of available payment methods offered at any time.
  8. Unless otherwise stated, all amounts given on the Website are in Euros or its equivalent in another currency. For any transaction which requires a currency exchange, the applicable exchange rate will apply.

To deal with the complaint as fast as we can, it must contain clear information about the Player’s identity (name, surname, username, registered email and residential address), as well as all relevant details about the issue (the name of the game, time and date of an incident with a clear explanation).
  4. The Customer Support agents will use their best efforts to promptly resolve a reported issue internally. The whole complaints process should take no more than 10 days from the date on which the complaint is received. In certain circumstances, this period may be extended by a further 10 days.
  5. An informal approach is appropriate when it can be achieved, but if concerns cannot be satisfactorily resolved informally, then the formal complaints procedure should be followed.
  6. We strive to ensure that all users are informed of our final decision and also receive orientation about the necessary steps to take an official dispute to a registered Alternative Dispute Resolution Body, also known as an 'ADR'. An 'ADR' is an independent third party, which mediates disputes and assesses all the facts and information provided by both parties and issues an impartial decision on the matter. If you feel that the complaint has not been resolved and/or you are unhappy with how the case was concluded, you can contact eCOGRA: Telephone Number: +44 20 7887 1480 https://ecogra.org/ata/policies_procedures.php.
  7. Alternatively, Players may use the European Commission’s ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
  8. If the Player still feels that their complaint has not been resolved to their satisfaction, they can bring the dispute to the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). You may do so by contacting the MGA player Support Unit at the following link: https://www.mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support/
  9. Regardless whether you lodged a complaint to either the ADR entity or the MGA, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings against STS in any court of competent jurisdiction.
